Shanghai is divided by the Huangpu river, the west area is known as Old city (Puxi) and the east is known as Pudong. Pudong used to be an undeveloped area of Shanghai. Today, Pudong is the more developed and glamorous part of the city. Pudong International airport is located at east of the city. Several bridges and tunnels connect the Puxi and Pudong. Travel by taxi, airport bus lines and subway are the most convenient and fastest option for the journey.

1. Please make Chinese currency exchange in the airport currency exchange counter before taking a taxi or city buses. Credit cards and foreign currency are not accepted in local transportation.
2. The fare of taxi in 23:00-5:00 is higher than in the day time.
3. If you take a taxi, please ask for a receipt with the taxi registration number in case you require special assistance (such as loss some thing in the car) when you arrive at the hotel.
4. If someone approaches you in the airport lobby and offers to take you to the hotel, please don't accept his/her offer for the ride.
5. After getting off the vehicles, it is a 5-10 minute's walking distance from the stop to SIMIT or Hotels. You can also take a taxi ride directly to the hotels.
6. Please pay attention to the open hour of local public transportation.

1. Taxi: it takes about 60 minutes from the Pudong International airport to SIMIT or hotels, the taxi fare is about CNY￥150-200 (approx. US$25-27).
2.Airport Shuttle bus line 6: The shuttle bus departs from outside airport terminal every 30 minutes with running time 9:00 pm-12:00 pm . It takes about 120 minutes from the Pudong airport to SIMIT or hotels. The fare is about CNY￥22 (approx. US$3)
3. Subway Line 2: It takes about 60 minutes from Pudong International airport to Zhongshan Park stop, with the fare CNY￥7(approx. US$1). And you will have to transfer from 4-carriage train to 8-carriage train at Guanglan Road Station.
4. Maglev Train + Subway: The maximum speed of Maglev Train can reach up to 430km/h. It takes only 8 minutes from the Pudong International airport to the termination stop (Longyang Road Station), with the fare about CNY￥50(approx. US$8). The price of favorable single trip ticket would be CNY￥40 for passenger who takes air plane at the same day. Then in Longyang Road station, you take subway line 2 to Zhongshan Park stop. It takes about 30 minutes from the Longyang Road station to Zhongshan Park stop, with the fare about CNY￥4 (approx. US$0.6).

2. Subway Line 2: It takes about 20 minutes from Hongqiao Transportation Hub to Zhongshan Park station, with the fare CNY￥4 (approx. US$0.6).
3. Bus Line 941: It takes about 50 minutes from Hongqiao Transportation Hub to Zhongshan Park stop, with the fare CNY￥4 (approx. US$0.6).
